What is Selfstorage at Lagerhaus Ansbach?
Selfstorage is your own personal storage space. As a customer one rents a storage room according to demand in size and rent duration. One loads or unloads his own goods. The access to this space is possible daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm without an appointment and with your own personal access pin code.
Who has access to my storage room?
Only you and from you authorized personnel have access to your storage room. Our customers have access to the warehouse with their personal pin code. The boxes/rooms are secured with padlocks which you can bring or acquire directly from us. The renter has only access, by contract, in emergency situations.
When do I have access to my storage room?
You have access daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. In addition, no appointment is necessary. You merely need your individual pin code which you receive after completion of contract.
What may not be stored?
Goods dangerous to fire, dangerous to explosion, radioactive, selfignition, toxic, corrosive, water polutents or strong smelling materials may not be stored. Also goods that decompose, attract vermin, as well as, living animals and plants.
Can I change, during the contract term, into a larger or smaller box?
This is possible according to availability of other boxes at any time. The price is adapted accordingly.
How long is the shortest rental period?
The shortest rental period is four weeks. Notice can be given within two weeks of end of any contract term.
How do I pay my rent?
A security deposit of 4 weeks and the first rent are due before moving in. Rent can be paid in cash, bank transfer or direct deposit.
What does the storage cost?
We offer storage starting at 2.34 €/m ³ or 19 € per box. The prices depend on the size of the box and the rental duration. A one time administrative fee of 20 € upon completion of contract. A 10 € administrative fee with upgrades, downgrades or storage room change. If you would like to equip your storage room with shelving, we calculate 9.90 € per meter of shelving length for four weeks. Talk with us, we will be happy to discuss your needs with you.
Do I have any additional cost for utilities?
Besides the rent there are no other additional costs.
Are there discounts on the rent price?
The rental price is dependent on the size of the storage room: the greater the more favourably the price per m². You can secure up to a 20% discount. The following conditions are valid:
By completion of a contract more than 6 months a 5% rental discount off the 1st to 6th month / 12 months 10% rental discount off the 1st to 12th month. Discount bonus on prepayment rental more than 6 months (1-6 months) a 10% discount /12 months prepayment rental (1-12 months) a 20% discount.
Which size storage room should I have?
As a rule of thumb, the storage room base should amount, with a usable height of 3 m, approx. the used flat base plus 10%. Goods to be stored should be stacked very well and easily accessible.
What is the insurance of the stored goods?
Basically, insurance is obligatory. As a private customer your home insurance insures the temporarily (up to three months) with us stored goods usually associated with free of charge. Check with your insurance company. We will also soon be able to offer insurance at attractive prices.
